Blue is a 9 year old blue/tan bitch. She does not like other dogs and can be very reactive towards them. She has had little contact with children but has lived with cats and can be left for short periods. She needs a special home with land or a large garden where she won’t have to worry about other dogs and can give all her love to her new owners. She’s a very sweet girl towards people. Currently being fostered in Exeter.

Blue has been in the care of DRA for a long time now and really needs a warm home to grow old in. Can you offer this lovely lady the very special home that she so deserves?

Please consider Blue, she has been waiting for such a long time for that special forever home to come along. With lots of hard work, Blue is managing to overcome some of her issues with other dogs.

Another year on and Blue waits patiently for her forever home to come along. She continues to improve with other dogs, some she actually quite likes and others she won’t tolerate. She may be a bit stuck in her ways but she’s an absolute sweetheart who would be a wonderful addition to the right home. Please someone come forward to give her the love and home she deserves.
Feb 2016:
We’re all very sad that the right home still hasn’t come along for this dear old lady. She doesn’t ask for much, a garden, a sofa in a warm home and someone to love her. Although Blue has managed to socialise with a few other dogs, this has been whilst muzzled and through careful introductions over a period of time. She would still prefer to be an only dog in her new home. Please get in touch if you can offer her this.
