WELCOME TO THE DOBERMANN REHOMING FORUM.

IMPORTANT:  Please read this message in its entirety before posting on the forum.  Please keep this for future reference.

PURPOSE:
Dobermann Rehoming Association is a small group of volunteers dedicated to the rehoming of unwanted Dobermanns.  The forum is designed to be a supportive and comforting environment.  It is expected that while differences of opinion will occur, forum members will treat each other with respect and dignity.

COPYRIGHT:
All messages posted to the forum are considered to be the copyright by the original author and you must receive express permission from this author in order to forward to any medium.

THE DO'S AND DON'TS The purpose of the forum is to foster communication and support between dog owners, and specific rules are few.  Please bear in mind that any kind of forum needs to have rules in order to run smoothly and effectively.

Questions about feeding, health, training and caring for our canine friends are most appropriate.  Since the DRA Forum is a community of dog lovers, your interesting stories are also appropriate, in moderation.  Please remember what the topic at hand is and not go wildly off topic!

Your moderators understand that controversial topics will arise, and it is important that we discuss these issues.  Please bear in mind that the purpose is to discuss these issues in a rational and factual manner.  Please keep your postings polite and to the point.  The moderators will not hesitate to lock the discussion if we feel the topic has become inappropriate.

Specific Don'ts:

1.  Do Not privately advertise a Dobermann in need of a new home.  Please contact Chris Omar
direct or one of our moderating team if you require help.

The Dobermann Rehoming Association will not allow the private advertising of a dog for rehoming on our
website.   We feel justified in our need to find the best possible home for the individual dog, and this
means careful home-checking and many conversations with a possible future owner.

Should you wish for our assistance in finding the right home for a Dobermann you are unable to keep, we
are more than happy to liaise with you to find the right path forward to take.

2.  Do Not forward messages you receive in your PRIVATE mail (ie. messages addressed to you
personally) without the express permission of the originating author.  It has been established in
current ' internet law' that the 'copyright' for these messages is held by the originating author and you
are in direct violation of copyright law if you forward without receiving permission.

3.  Do Not 'flame' members of the forum by posting derogatory comments about a person, place or
thing to the forum.  Personal flames directed to anyone on or off the list are *Strongly* discouraged.
Any persistent 'flaming' that occurs will result in the removal from the forum of the member(s)
    responsible.

4.  Do not advertise your own, or any other members business for personal gain via the forum. Any links will be      removed and a personal message sent to the poster. Continuous advertising could result in an account being banned. Please do contact Chris Omar (01276 855326) if you wish to have a weblink advertisement added to our sponsors and thank yous page.

Anyone in violation of the four above "Don'ts" can and will be subject to immediate removal from the forum, with or without warning by your moderating team.
